GNY’s Second WOTC Experiment using XNO Data Suggests Improved Study Design

GNY invited members of the nano community to predict the high price and low price of xno on 15/12/2023 in return for an airdrop of GNY tokens. This wisdom of the crowd approach was a deliberate shift from our first WOTC BTC Airdrop experiment where we asked participants to just predict a single closing price value. Our hope was that capturing the high/low of the daily range would more accurately mirror how our forecast LSTM models work, and so the data might be of more value to training.
Now that the WOTC Experiment II/XNO has been completed you can explore the results and their impact on predicting future price movements and volatility

LML gets a Gamified WOTC Tool — “Man Vs Machina”

GNY builds powerful technology at the intersection of blockchain and machine learning. Our customer-facing products are focused on AI-powered forecasting and indicators for crypto traders. Our sister project, LML, was envisioned as a suite of tools to harness, transform and share data securely and powerfully. LML is the perfect vehicle for the WOTC tool. This tool, a game called “Man Vs Machina”, will be the first in a series of tools to be developed for LML.

The core of Man Vs Machina challenges users to outperform GNY’s ML engine for the chance to win prizes and best each other. By placing a personal prediction for what they believe the high and the low will be for the price of Bitcoin (and later a range of cryptocurrencies) within a specified 24 hr window, players can win prizes and bragging rights. The players pit themselves against other humans, plus the “final boss”, which is GNY’s neural network and its machine learning-driven price predictions. In the game, GNY’s neural networks are personified by the “GNY Queen”, a fun pixel-drawn character who encourages and taunts the players in equal measure.
